Hello world! Welcome back to another blog! As we head into the second month of 2025, whilst I got off to a flying start, it soon began to go downhill which forced me to prioritise self-care, with Margo making sure I got the self care needed as seen below.

Never the less, I managed to be productive this week, which included refreshing my looks, starting my presentation for my passion show and finishing off the second series of quite possibly the biggest Korean Drama in the world! So without further ado, here is what I got up to in the week commencing 27th January 2025!
Professional:
Headshots:
At the start of the week, I had my headshots taken. They were taken by my colleague who helped me with my film, and so if anyone knew how to get the perfect shot, it was him. Whilst I was there he mentioned about another potential project, and I was intrigued by it. Again I'll keep it there, and I'll be sure to let you my readers know what will be happening!
Short Film:
This week I managed to send off Unmasked to more film festivals as seen below, and I have had a massive update from one of them! That's all I can say at the moment, but lets just say that for me, it's a huge step in my short film journey!
Acting class:
This week in my acting class my teacher mentioned something which he wanted our opinions on, which gave me some real food for thought. We also looked at some audition scripts for a potential new acting role with a company I’ve interacted with before. Yes the location may seem hard to get to, but I’ll simply mention it in my application, as if you don’t ask you don’t get! We then looked at some of the scripts to get on camera in the next couple of weeks. At first I wasn’t so sure on them, but now after looking at them I think I have an idea on which one I’d like to look at!
Audition:
Following on from my class, I filmed the audition tape. Yes I may not have got the job, but to do something like this was an opportunity in itself, so technically I am performing. And it went really well, and providing that it's okay once the project has been broadcasted, I'm going to use my audition to post onto my socials.
Passion Show Update:
This week was my final week of call-outs for my passion show. As I’m writing this the planning structure of it is in the making. I’ve even started my presentation, so fingers crossed I can get it done in time and hope to get at least ten people in the audience following the advice from Paul Chuckle!
Coronation Street:
On the cobbles this week it was once again jam packed! Lauren’s trial was still taking place, and whilst Roy managed to say his bit with saying why Lauren did what she did out of self defense, Brie's accusation did not help at all! And whilst Lauren managed to get her point across about her ordeal before Joel’s dismiss, I can see why Dee Dee said that the defense is tough to handle, and what she said may have scuppered her chances. But Dee Dee’s discovery with what Gus did to Brie May have changed everything, and her powerful speech on what victims like Lauren go through was a brilliant to watch! Definitely a potential actors jam monologue, and I have a feeling Anthea didn’t know any of this at all! But Lauren isn’t the only one who’s got a lot on. Toyah is getting stuck from both Leanne, who along with Tracy is taking proper advantage of her which I feel is going too far, and Abi, who after trying to process Kevin’s cancer scare, riles at Toyah to keep out of her business following a meeting with an addiction group. But I think that’s partly the PTSD talking, as she’s still getting hallucinations of Seb. Finally, Daniel is adamant for a DNA test on daisy’s baby, but with Bethany deciding to take that job offer, the baby secret may get a whole more complicated. I then watched an episode from 22nd January, where we saw the outcome of Lauren’s trial. I’ve also learnt something new about the jury, and what would happen if not all of them agreed on the verdict. And well done to Lauren for standing up to Gus after trying to get Frankie once again! The platts are also in danger when lily receives a note from Harvey, but I have a feeling Logan was the one who sent it, and Cassie is turning out to be a really good liar, as her stealing Ken’s credit cards is really stooping an all time low. I also loved the scene where Daisy in true Corrie fashion reveals the truth about her pregnancy and who the dad might be. And whilst I’m glad daisy is okay after suffering from cramps and fearing her baby, I can imagine Bethany must be heartbroken, and Sarah telling off Daniel even made my skin crawl. And with Lucy fallon off for maternity leave, something tells me that Bethany may be taking that job in London without Daniel. Finally. Leanne is still trying to annoy toyah, and after Debbie had a disagreement with Ronnie (which may be a hint for the tragedy that’s to come for her), Leanne saw it as an opportunity to have some fun. But as you can imagine Debbie was not impressed, and Sam is an example of speaking their mind without words, has you know when you’re disappointed in someone, when you give them a certain look. And his look said it all! Finally I caught up from 24th January, where Anthea actually apologised for Gus’ behaviour and has agreed to stop the custody battle. I know that Lauren and max won’t be able to forgive her straight away, but at least it’s a start. And Max's declaration was adorable, and if someone dedicated their love to me like that, my heart would melt. But after seeing spoilers, something tells me they’ll be another challenge ahead. And following a night with Ryan, Leanne is also in hot water with pretty much everyone on the street. First Debbie before she went to court (where I don’t know if it’s linking to what’s coming for her or it’s deliberate but it was funny), then burning Nick and Toyah's passports after discovering their plans, but some wise words from Ryan and Michael made her realise that she needs to think about herself, leading to a big decision. David is also in jeopardy when the dog gets ran over, leading him to make drastic decisions for the family. Finally, I don’t blame Sarah for telling Daisy what she thinks about the situation, but Daisy's retaliation on Adam and Damon didn’t help things. But I’m glad Bethany was able to still consider the job in London (to facilitate Lucy Fallon's maternity leave), and also have a grownup conversation with Daisy about recent events. But during that conversation, something that Bethany said clicked in her, and with Charlotte Jordan due to leave the show, I wonder if she’ll keep the secret on who the dad actually is from both Daniel and Kit?
Hollyoaks:
this week in Chester it was mainly focused on one man. And that man goes by the name of Abe Fielding! Even though he trapped Cleo once again, I’m glad she managed to find her way out and Abe was arrested. But he managed to find his way out of the situation once again. But a discovery of online videos of Cleo, Peri and even Leela (who was also shocked by what she saw), may be the key to bringing him down once and for all. Grace also has enemies of her own, and after initially targeting Mercedes, she won’t rest until she finds her target. Let’s just hope she doesn’t discover Freddie’s secret, who lies to Robbie about how he found out about Vickys pregnancy. And Lucas did a brilliant job at cooking a meal in the hope of winning back Dillon, but misbahs intervention may have ruined their chances. But Ste is keen to help out, and after getting back on his feet following his psychosis, helping his son out may be what he needs. Tuesdays episode saw Ste just that, and Dillon decided to see it for himself. Even though the meal didn’t go to plan, I’m just glad that Dillon and Lucas have talked things through and are co suffering on giving things another go. And I hope Rex’s kind gesture to Dillon is legit, as he and Lucas need some privacy before telling Misbah, who after constantly looking after baby James, needs abit of rest. But Ste’s proposition may be the thing she needs. But things are not looking great for Vicky, who suffers something no parent to be should face, and with Freddie being the real father, I can imagine it must be hard on him. But I wonder if Mercedes will reveal all after overhearing his and Vicky's conversation? Finally after Cleo’s interview, not knowing that Banks is teaming up with Abe (which I wasn’t expecting), she decides that she and peri need to give him a taste of his own medicine. Finally, Wednesdays episode saw Dillon and Lucas have a reunion at Ste’s old place. And I’m glad Misbah was glad they gave their relationship another go, and with Ste agreeing to do his share of watching baby James, things are on the up. I wish I could say the same for Cleo and Peri, who yes their livestream set up made the whole world see what a monster he really is, but Leela's secret was also exposed. I’m just glad Joel was able to show her that she was not to blame, especially when it comes to Clara, but I can see the dress in his eyes when it comes to the DNA test. Finally, after turning down Freddie overhearing the conversation between him and Vicky, Mercedes’ plan to get rid of Abe for good may lead to a dangerous game.
Eastenders:
Mondays episode saw Sonia trying to do some digging following her release from prison. Reiss is trying to do everything he can to cover his tracks (and Kim wanting to get involved is not helping), but when Jack mentioned something important to the role of the police, it really made Sonia think king and hard! Cindy is also still hot on her trail following the news that Lauren’s charges are dropped, so junior and Anna are convinced Gina is hiding something following Anna overhearing a conversation with Harry. I’m also glad Anna has someone like Freddie, who may have a new job coming soon, but I felt bad when Anna couldn’t come to support him following the accusations again, but junior revealing it was Gina who threw the brick may cause a spanner in the works. Finally even though Ruby managed to convince councillor barker to stop the development, martins stall is now at risk too, and I have a feeling barker may have set him up. Billy is also in a spot of bother when he gets the orders wrong for the wedding. Tuesdays episode saw a follow on from that, as Cindy is still speechless on final revelation, and even though the brick story is true, she’s adamant she didn’t attack Cindy. But I get the hint that the fords are someone you don’t want to mess with after finding out that George wasn’t at a fight the night Cindy was attacked, but there's more twists and turns when Gina revealed another secret with regards to Freddie. And I do have to feel bad for Anna, as before watching the show again she and Freddie were very close, so I can imagine the heartbreak she’s going to face. But after reading an article on saying how it might not be Freddie she was with, I’m intrigued to know if it’s a cover up or if it is actually true. Sonia is also onto Reiss after finding out from Jack about the confession video, but Reiss manages to twist the narrative once again. And following martins market being closed again (and a comment from Ian didn’t help the situation), Stacey was literally begging with Ruby to reconsider on fighting for martins stall. But it looks like Ruby is adamant she’s not going to go back to her old ways and focus on being a mum. But for me personally, you’d do anything for the ones you love (within reason), so if I was Ruby I’d be fighting non stop to get what I want. And finally, I can’t believe billy fell for the made up story about the cash for his wedding, little knowing Phil’s true intentions for it. Wednesdays episode saw the follow on from Tina’s shocking secret. And even though Freddie admitted he was in the wrong (but fair play to him for having the balls to admit it, as not a lot of men would do that), I’m gutted that Anna turned him down yet again. But I get that she needs to think about her own well-being, which I guess is more important. Denise is also keeping Ravi hot on his toes, and Nigel is definitely worried about his dementia putting off Yolandes friend Norma, but I’m sure it won’t be the case. After honey and Stacey managed to get councillor Barker’s plans to close the market stopped, Martin is ever to grateful. But I feel that Ruby will be grilling him later on! Finally, after overhearing George mentioning about the location of the shovel used to attack Cindy, I wonder what dark secret junior is hiding? Finally, after Gina staying at juniors following hers and Freddie’s secret (and Freddie is trying really hard to win Anna back despite getting a new job), she discovered something which may make Cindy question if it’s someone in her own home. And following juniors idea that it’s not just finger prints, she’s even more certain. Sonia also manages to find some peace within adopts old bible and makes a big decision on Bianca, and Yolande was right to suggest to Nigel that he needs companionship. Ravi also made the most of his night inviting Denise round, but obviously you can imagine nuggets upset, whilst wanting to keep Nish’s ashes. Finally, I do get why Ruby was mad at Martin for the moment between him and Stacy, but I’m not sure if her idea to make Martin the owner of his stall a good thing or to keep him on his toes? Either way Martin may realise he has feelings for both women.
Squid Game:
The penultimate episode of series 2 just left me wanting more once again. "Mingle" turned out to be more stressful than I saw, and it included new friendships being formed, to loosing friends in the process. Kim Young-mi sadly met a terrible fate, causing Hyun-ju to lash out at Myung-gi, and even player 222 is still showing no remorse, as she discovers later on that all he cared about was the money, so good on her for standing her ground for the sake of her unborn baby. Jung-bae was also right to be cautious, as In-ho literally killed someone to spare their lives, and after trying to tell Gi-hun, he had no luck. And when it came to the vote, I can imagine the frustration for those who want to go home felt when they have to wait until the next day to vote again. Although Gi-hun's and In-ho's’ ideas may collide especially when they have people who want to stay. I also felt bad for poor Min-su who after betraying his friend Se-mi during the game, he had second thoughts, and Thano's was hit on his tail. But after a collision with Myung-gi, Thano's may have met his match, after Gi-hun notices some cutlery with the food they got, and Myung-gi used his to his advantage! Meanwhile, Jun-hi and his team did everything they can to crash into the games, only to be met with one team member down after getting caught in an explosion (but I wonder if it had anything do with the trap door from earlier?), but Jun-ho is adamant to carry on. The final episode “Friend or Foe” really ramped up the stakes! After Thanos’ dismiss, the O's and the X's are more divided than ever! But Gi-hun was adamant that his plan to infiltrate the control room and stop the games would work. And with the help of Hyun-ju, who used to be in the special forces, they had a strong team on their hands. But things took a turn for the worse where most people surrendered, and the front man showed his true intentions. Whilst I expected Jung-bae to meet his end, I didn’t expect the front man to take out two other innocent people. But after the sneak peek of the third and final season, I’m just itching to see the fate of those who joined Gi-hun in the fight for survival. But meanwhile, with the captain having other motives, it’ll be interesting to see in the third series how Jun-ho will retaliate when he finds out the betrayal he’ll suffer.
Kin:
The last two episodes of thing is show were jaw dropping. Episode 7 saw Michael being hell bent on getting Bren for seeing Anna behind his back, which only seems to push her away further, and Bren having a mother way to get close to Anna is creeping me out abit. That and his current situation with Molly (which I wasn’t expecting her secret), led to a steamy moment with Amanda. I also get why he fears on taking it further, especially for jimmy's sake. But their plan to jell Bren may need to be well thought out, as Frank and birdy plan to leave Dublin for good, and after a few straight up words to the vicar, I do wonder what he got Dan to do. I also don’t blame Nikki for leaving Eric, and Bren's comment may have pushed him too far. The Turks may have also got their plan in place for the Kinsella's, but there’s drama of their own, especially when it comes to who runs the business. Finally, there may also be a rat during Michael and Amanda’s meeting, and Anthony is really feeling the pressure after doing not one, but two crimes which can send him down for a long time. Finally, episode 8 was filled with twists and turns which I wasn’t expecting. The daughter of the father may have realised she and Amanda have more in common than they thought, and accepting her desk may have saved both of their lives. And Michael finally managed to get Jimmy to see through Bren's evil ways, and mentioning Anna may have chit him back to reality. Birdys deal to jess’ mum may also seem genuine, and you could tell through Jess’ mums eyes that she agreed with birdy. And despite a setback from Bren himself, Frank managed to get the job done before Michael, Jimmy and eric. And the ending I was not expecting. I’m just glad that in the end, Anthony did the right thing and that I have a feeling Nikki’s problems will have been sorted.
Patience:
The last two episodes of this show were quite possibly the best ones yet. Episode 5 saw Patience helping friend Billy come to terms with his brothers supposedly disappearance. But after a call to say otherwise, she was determined to help her friend. And thanks to Patience's knowledge of chemicals, her heightened senses and a trip to a local Japanese restaurant, she managed to discover a shocking secret to one of the key witnesses. During the episode, we also got to see the first puzzle Patience got, which she then implemented into the case, using a technique to go backwards and start the puzzle again, which I thought was very clever! But you do have to feel for her when she got caught in a dangerous situation, which thankfully Bea and Jake got to her in time. But I have a feeling Bea may be trying to digest Alfie's diagnosis herself, and when Patience got overwhelmed at her birthday and thought that her present to Bea was "a joke", it goes to show that her colleagues still have alot to learn about her. I also related to her when Elliott asked her out on a date and needing time to process, but he does seem like a gentleman when Patience goes into her own little world! Finally, the last episode was quite possibly the biggest case yet! Not only was Bea dismissed from the case, but thanks to patience’s key work she manages to save her life! And good on her for stepping out of her comfort zone and bending the rules to find the real culprit, and Zara had a lot of explaining to do. All I can say is after that I really hope there is a second series, as she and Elliott may have a nice thing going on (all thanks to a book Bea gave her about romance), but Alfie is also settling into his new routine. And also because Patience may be up for looking for her mum.
Personal:
Exercise:
This week my exercise was still strong, but towards the end of the week it did start to drag (and I’ll mention why later on), but I gave 100% into what I had in that tank. And that was enough for me!
Online Business mastery:
This week I managed to listen to module 2.1 again and start to fill in the workbook! I’m glad I made that next step which isn’t always easy, but with my passion show in the making I can use what I’m learning into this programme, which is always great!
The Masked Singer:
I am loving every moment of this show once again! After hearing one of the characters may have been on a different version of the show before, I’m convinced I know who it is. And I may have second guessed one of them after hearing their voice again!

Gladiators:
This week I managed to watch the Celebrity Special of the new Gladiators. I remember watching the show before on Sky 1 with Ian Wright and Caroline Flack (God rest her soul), but after seeing Nitro in Celebrity MasterChef and Montell Douglas in Strictly, I had to watch this series! And boy it did not disappoint. And I think I've found my new pick me up before I start my early morning shift.

Hard Times:
I think a hard time for me this week would be towards the end where I came on my time of the month. I'll be honest, this one felt more worse than before, as it literally made me feel run down to the point where I was considering taking a few days off (and there are some countries that allow time off for ladies who have severe menstrual cramps). But thanks to the help of pain killers and a hot water bottle, I managed to battle them through like a trouper! And Margo as seen below made sure she looked kept an eye on me!

What have I learnt this week? Towards the end I’ve learnt to embrace self care. As yes I’ve got a lot on, but remembering past mistakes I don’t want to get myself overwhelmed. So once a week an hour during the day of doing some relaxing things is what’s needed!
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
This is THe Autistic Actress signing off :)
